In 2024, Warren Temple applied for and was awarded a competitive $100,000 matching grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places, which is an organization that supports historic and architecturally significant houses of worship.
Starting in October 2024 and continuing throughout 2025, we have embarked upon a capital campaign to raise funds for this matching grant that will preserve our historic parish structure—originally built in 1934 by church member and architect John Moore—so that our congregation can serve generations to come.
If you wish to donate to the capital campaign, there are four ways to contribute:
PayPal – use warrentempleumclg@gmail.com
Zelle – use warrentempleumclg@gmail.com
Cash – donate in person during our worship service
Check or other instrument – donate in person during our worship service or send funds to our post office box:
Warren Temple United Methodist Church
PO Box 2614
LaGrange GA 30241-0054
Please indicate "building fund" or "capital campaign" on the giving envelope, check memo line, or in the "What's this for" (message to recipient) field within PayPal / Zelle, which will ensure that the funds are directed properly.
Thank you so much for being a part of our ministry and vision!
